Why it matters
Social algorithms and paid influencers often push whatever’s trending. We don’t. We choose slowly, based on evidence, safety, and real benefit—and then we explain why.
How we choose
Problem first – We start from a real need (sleep, stress, cognition, recovery), not from a product.
Evidence review – Human data prioritized over lab or animal studies; we score study quality and effect size.
Safety and integrity – Ingredient transparency, sensible dosages, contaminant testing, manufacturing standards.
Field testing – Pilots with our experts and a small user panel to evaluate practicality, adherence, and side effects.
Ongoing monitoring – If new evidence emerges, we update the guidelines—or remove the product.
Our non-negotiable standards
No “pay-to-play.” Brands cannot buy their way into TLC.
Conflict-of-interest disclosure. Any financial ties are declared on the product page.
Transparent labels. Full ingredient lists, doses, and third-party testing when applicable.
Verifiable claims. Plain-language summaries with links to source evidence.
Inclusive and ethical. No unsupported longevity promises, no pseudoscience.
